Just like the good old days of those awkward family photos from the 70s, 80s, and 90s… the Bellamy Middle School staff kicked off this school year with our own hilarious version!

Every year, we start with a fun community-building competition, and this year did not disappoint. Each team came up with their own "awkward family photo". They chose their own theme, pose, and background—and let’s just say, the creativity (and awkwardness) was off the charts. Our students even got to vote for their favorite awkward team/family photo, making it even more fun and interactive.

We laughed until we cried and truly enjoyed kicking off the new school year together. The Bellamy staff always brings creativity, teamwork, and plenty of laughter to everything we do. Huge congratulations to the 6th grade team, The Blazers, for winning this year’s photo competition! Here’s to more fun, laughter, and community at Bellamy this school year!
